Follow these steps to design your fire alarm system:

Load Floor Plan — Upload a PNG, JPG or PDF of your floor plan. Use 🧹 Prepare Plan to clean it up first with the Mural extractor.

Building Outline — Draw a polygon around the building boundary. This defines the area FireDraw will work within.

Set Scale — Use the Measure Tool to click two known points, enter the real distance, and confirm the scale. All device spacing is calculated from this.

Detect Rooms — Run Room Count to automatically detect rooms from the floor plan. Tag room types (sleeping, unoccupied, high risk) as needed.
5
Place Devices — Place External Door icons first, then use Auto Place to populate the design. Review compliance, then export your PDF certificate.
